The purpose of Count Us In, the Seattle/King County Point in Time (PIT) Count, is to collect data on the needs of people experiencing homelessness in our community. The count also provides an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of homelessness and to spark action. A successful and accurate count is an essential component to informing our regional response and to ultimately making homelessness rare, brief and one-time in King County.

What to expect

On January 25th 2019, the Count occurs between 2am-6am. At the deployment site you will meet and be assigned a team captain and guide who will help lead your team. Teams will generally be about 2-4 people. Some may finish earlier depending on the number of volunteers and scale of the area being covered.
